I transplanted May Apples from a wooded area into a flower bed a few years ago and now, elder peonys float above them like pink and magenta clouds over green hills. Around the same time, a neighbor gifted clumps of ginger which quickly began rolling throughout the landscape. This year I re-homed a few clumps to encircle my vegetable garden and they seem to like the idea very much. Your photo of wee flowers and feet on the stump piece is beautiful.
